Welcome to the single reference point for all Surrey Adult Social Care Providers. This web site allows you to access a whole range of information about Workforce Development including training and development opportunities, funding; News; What's On: Business and Market development for Adult Social Care providers in  the county of Surrey.

Surrey Care Association Ltd was set up in September 2005. It is a non membership, not for profit  organisation representing all providers (private, voluntary or charitable) based in the county of Surrey, from all sectors ie Care homes, domiciliary care and supported living. For more detailed information check out “About SCA”.

The main aims of SCA Ltd are to:

• Represent the independent Adult Social Care sector views.

• Work towards sustaining the viability of Social Care providers in Surrey

• Facilitate engagement with the independent sector on key issues arising in Surrey e.g. changes in policies, tendering opportunities and influence developments.

• Communicate and inform care providers of key strategic, business and workforce issues
• Contribute to market development and transformation of services in line with new vision for social care.
• Promote workforce development and broker funding streams.
• Appoint Board Directors/Advisors to work in partnership with the Local Authority and statutory sector on key stakeholder groups and activities.
• Provide a network for care providers to work together in ways which are mutually beneficial and to promote these services.
• Provide a support service to independent care providers in line with the aims of the association
• Act as voice of Independent care sector employers in Surrey and to contribute to regional and where appropriate national networks

In line with our Partnership Agreement with Surrey County Council work together in the interests of the people of Surrey who use care services.
