Accommodation
2 Chapel Road is a supported living home for adults with enduring Mental Health Problems. It is a large detached house, situated close to Redhill Town centre. The accommodation comprises of a sitting room, kitchen, utility room, dining room, smoking room, six bedrooms, two toilets, one bathroom and one wet room. There is a drive at the front of the house with adequate parking for three cars. In addition there is a patio area at the rear of the house and a small garden.
Location
2 Chapel Road is within five minutes walk of Redhill Town centre, Bus depot and Train station, with regular trains to London and Gatwick airport. There are also regular Bus and Coach services to; Reigate, Crawley, Croydon and Sutton. The home has accommodation for six residents of mixed gender with enduring mental health problems. Service users enjoy the comfort and privacy of their own bedrooms, which are well furnished and decorated to their own choice and preference. All bedrooms are of a generous size, allowing service users to have their own furniture if they wish. The rest of the facilities in the home are shared.

Arrangements with Local Services
2 Chapel Road has excellent links with a range of statutory and non-statutory agencies. Service users have regular appointments at the locality psychiatric out-patient clinic. Service users have a choice of GP. Other services available locally include chiropody, dental and optical services. There are also links with Surrey County Council Social Services with a care management system in operation.
Leisure and Recreational Activities
Residents are encouraged to access or join local groups and clubs such as; leisure centre, church, day centre, and The Link Club. Residents are given the opportunity to participate in leisure outings and activities of their choice and an annual holiday supported by staff. A social calendar and literature are available in the house.
Resident Participation
Residents participate in their own meetings once a month and have drawn up their own House Rules. Residents are encouraged to participate in resident and staff selection.
Food and Dining Arrangements
Food is chosen by service users. Menus are planned on a weekly basis. Food shopping is at local supermarkets by service users with staff members. All of the service users participate in cooking with the support of staff members.
Daily Tasks
Service users are involved in day to day running of the home with the support of the staff according to the policies and procedures. Service users are supported with their religious beliefs and contact with their significant relationships i.e. friends and family members.
Smoking Policy
A no smoking policy is in operation in the house. This includes all areas except the Smoking Room.
