County Care Independent Living Ltd
We are a specialist support provider, working with adults and children with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions and physical disabilities all across Surrey. We offer a variety of services.
Our outreach, one-to-one support works with people in their own homes and in the community, helping them to be as independent as possible in such tasks as personal care, shopping, cooking, budgeting, seeking employment, daily living skills, travel training and correspondence.
We also provide lots of social and leisure activities, from our weekly bowling leagues in six venues across the county, to our monthly “Meet and Greet” pub quiz nights to our diverse and exciting trips during college holidays. These are all about coming together, connecting with people, building communities where people feel like they belong and creating opportunities that will provide lasting friendships. We also offer supported holidays, whether that be one an individual has chosen for themselves, or one we have organised.
There are also many weekly day time learning opportunities on offer, such as a furniture restoration project, a motor mechanics course and a media scene, where the people we support have the opportunities to learn new skills and be part of exciting projects, which possibly could form the basis for seeking future employment.
Finally, we have three community skills projects in Woking, Horley and Epsom which have a timetable of activities promoting independent living skills, community inclusion and presence and confidence building. The Community Skills Projects are highly successful and innovative services, which can be accessed on a full or part time basis. The aim is to provide purposeful and fun activities, whilst at the same time giving a wide range of experiences in work, volunteering and enterprise.
We are committed to providing high quality, person centred support, which enables people to live their lives the way they want to and to have the opportunities they deserve. We create person centred support packages to meet individual needs, and have a diverse and highly trained staff team in order to ensure that support is appropriately matched. Everything we do is based on promoting independence and ensuring the people we support have the same rights and chances as everyone else.
