Surrey Care Awards 2022
Welcome to the SCA Awards Page!
This year we have 16 Awards under three categories: People, Services and Practice.
These awards are to recognise and celebrate the fantastic work of social care workers from across Surrey who work so hard, despite everyday challenges to deliver the best care possible.
An awesome chance to thank and commend the exceptional people you work with or have cared for you or your loved one.
Whilst there may be only one ultimate winner, we will shortlist up to six finalists in each Award. The finalists will be announced in advance, and we look forward to celebrating with them on the Awards night!
All nominations for the Care Workers of the year will be listed in the Award program.
So, let’s get nominating! Although the deadline for Surrey Care Providers (both SCA Members and Non-Members welcome to enter) is the 20th of September, to maximize your chance of putting in a great submission that covers all the criteria, we think it’s worth starting now!

Each category has ‘a guide’ to help you think about why you are nominating in this particular award category and how you can illustrate it. For example, if you want to submit someone for Social Care Hero Award, the nomination form will ask you:
‘When nominating your social care heroes – whether an individual care and support worker, a manager or a team – please tell the panel in no more than 400 words why you believe they should be the Care Worker, Registered Manager or Unsung Hero of the year.
You will need to provide a separate nomination submission for each award.
We’ve provided some ideas/ criteria – but they’re just for guidance.
You have just 400 words to let the panelists know why your nomination/ entry deserves to win, so make every word count!
If you need any guidance, please do not hesitate to get in touch with the SCA Team by calling 01306 868 529, or email on email@example.com.
