Getting started with International Recruitment

This on-line course is for people with little or no experience of international recruitment, who are considering recruiting from overseas. You’ll learn about the basic principles and rules of international recruitment to help you decide if it’s right for you. The course is relatively interactive and will include time for Q&A. Attendees will be eligible for follow-up email or phone support from BA Healthcare, should they have any questions after the course.  
 
On this session you will learn:  

  • Why providers recruit overseas workers 
  • How to access a different skill set through employing an overseas worker 
  • How to decide whether it’s the right approach for you  
  • The basic principles of the immigration rules (including the different routes to employing someone depending on their status, ie student, graduate, or skilled worker) 
  • When you need a UKVI licence 
  • The principles of ethical recruitment 
  • Working with international recruiters and recruiting overseas 
  • What it costs to employ overseas workers
