January 2010
Skills for Care have been asked by the Care Quality Commission to develop best practice guidelines to underpin the workforce elements of their guidance about compliance, published last month ( 8th December).
I am pleased to tell you that Surrey County Council has been chosen to test a national policy that aims to give more choice and control to disabled residents over the care and support they receive.
Leading up to the launch I have disabled all detailed reporting and cached more pages to make the site quicker to load. I'm not sure how it will handle under load but right now it is as fast as can be!
The site has been completely redesigned from the ground up for our needs. Everything is quicker and easier to find. The information is now easier to use and allows you to have your say by commenting on items or using the new message board.
