Welcome to the single reference point for all Surrey Social Care Providers. This web site allows you to access a whole range of information about Workforce Development, training opportunities, funding, Skills for Care, news, business and market development in the county of Surrey.
Surrey Care Association Ltd was set up in September 2005. For more detailed information check out About SCA.
It has been made possible thanks to the funding support from our three key partners - Surrey County Council, Skills for Care and Surrey Learning and Skills Council. The main aims of SCA Ltd are to:
• Represent independent care sector views including broadening its remit to all Adult Social Care providers (and Childrens Social Care providers from April 2006)
• Work towards sustaining the viability of Social Care providers in Surrey
• Communicate and inform care providers of key strategic, business and workforce issues
• Influence provision of services to support workforce and business development
• Contribute to market development and transformation of services in line with new vision for social care
• Promote workforce development and broker funding streams
• Appoint representatives to work in partnership with the Local Authorities and statutory sector and communicate from any meetings at which views are presented
• Provide a network for care providers to work together in ways which are mutually beneficial and to promote these services
• Provide a support service to independent care providers in line with the aims of the association
• Act as voice of Independent care sector employers in Surrey and to contribute to regional and where appropriate national networks
We welcome feedback at any time on our web site, its content and any of SCA Ltd activities.
