N & B Training Co Ltd was established in 1998 to deliver work-based qualifications in Elderly Care, Early Years Care and Education and Playwork. We contract with Surrey LSC to provide free training for learners under the age of 25 who are required to complete a framework of qualifications for their modern apprenticeship. However bursaries are available to contribute towards the costs for those wishing to complete an NVQ over 25.
Based in Walton on Thames in Surrey, our assessors cover a wide area including West London, Berkshire and Hampshire. We currently have 130 learners working towards a variety of qualifications.

In order to support the underpinning knowledge required for the NVQ, we also offer short courses including food hygiene, health and safety, manual handling and child protection. These can be taken either at N & B's premises or in-house depending on numbers. All learners are required to attend a one day induction at the beginning of their programme and we also offer tuition in
basic/key skills where necessary.

Costs of NVQ's
Level 2 costs £850 and should be completed within 15 months

Level 3 costs £1000 and should be completed within 24 months
