Delivery is flexible (1 day sessions can be done in two half days or evenings).

In addition we are able to offer accredited literacy, numeracy and ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) training.   Either individually, or with a group of learners, we will develop a programme that enables learners to improve their skills and progress from one level to another.  Our programmes offer 1:1 tutoring/support, and are delivered in the workplace at a time convenient to both the learner and the employer.

As an accredited ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) training provider, we are able to offer a range of full QCF leadership and management qualifications (NVQs), vocationally recognised qualifications (VRQs), units, or even develop bespoke leadership programmes.   We can offer a range of qualifications ranging from Level 2 Certificate in Team Leading, to the Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Management.

We are able to draw on the expertise and experience of a number of tutors and are able to develop bespoke courses required by the employer.   We would work closely with employers to draw up a training programme that maps in existing training, and would be relevant, delivered at the level required, and at a time/place to suit the employer.

All our qualifications are delivered on a 1:1 basis, or in a small group with study and support sessions.   Working with the learner and employer we agree a learning plan that meets everyone’s needs.    For our qualifications, learners will need to be observed in the workplace, and we have processes and procedures for working sensitively with both the service user and their families.

For our mandatory/accredited training, we will work with cohorts of a minimum of 6 and maximum of 12 to ensure the employer gets value for money.

Our emphasis is that every learner, and every learning situation is different.   Working closely with learners and employers we offer flexible, and often innovative solutions that meet their needs.    This is not off the shelf delivery, it is very much learner led.    This is why we believe we have an excellent 95% retention and achievement rate.

For 2012/13 we are looking at offering open programmes for our mandatory courses.

We have specific funding to fully fund Apprenticeships for the unemployed aged 19-24 who take up a position in a SME (under 250 employees).

In addition, we are working with Jobcentre Plus to offer Level 1 Introduction to Health and Social Care for those looking to work in care, and are looking for employers to offer placements and job opportunities.   Full Level 2/3 funding/apprenticeship will be offered to any of this group who take up a placement and or job.

From April 2012, the government has announced that grants of up to £1500  for SME’s (under 50 employees) will be available for organisations taking on their first apprenticeship.   Further details to be announced.
