Business Skills

Recognising the challenges providers are facing to both improve and radically transform services in an increasingly difficult economic climate, Surrey Care Association is running a programme of free workshops.  These are aimed at helping owners, directors and owner managers to develop the skills essential to running and sustaining a successful care business. Workshops will incorporate direct input by the trainer, group discussion, practical application of models and tools used, and relevant case studies.

These workshops are for Owners, Proprietors, Chief Executives and Senior Decision Making Managers and those who are responsible for managing the business and for making business decisions.  Workshops will be led by Elaine Hedgecock, an independent consultant who specialises in management and organisation development in health and social care. You may sign up for more than one workshop.

Skills for Care have issued a revised listing of training eligible for WFDF funds. This increases the units that are eligible.

The new list can be found here.

Claiming now is important - if we don't spend the allocation it will be reclaimed!
