Workforce Development

 

Surrey Care Association aims to promote the continous development of services and staff, it is therefore comitted strive to provide support nad resources to facilitate workforce development in Surrey.

As part of this work it uses funding from our partners to offer a comprehensive programme of development opportunities through our ASCG Training Programme (Full details of current opportunities are available on the Downloads section of this site). As required various targeted opportunities are also provided through workshops and seminars, details of these will be found via the what's on section of this site.

This section of the site provides information on:



 

1. Training Providers who have met the Surrey Care Association training standards criteria



2. The Training Providers Network meetings - a forum for the sharing of information and experiences for training providers in Surrey.


3. The Trainers Network - A forum for staff employed in care services who deliver training.

Social Care Information and Learning Services is an online learning resource/community dedicated to the Health and Social Care Sector.

A wide range of social care materials are available either for online or group learning along with other services that support social care professionals in furthering their knowledge.
SCA has subscribed on behalf of all Surrey providers - to access the site and the wealth of learning materials within it contact Jenni via the SCA office for a password.

Skills for Care have issued a revised listing of training eligible for WFDF funds. This increases the units that are eligible.

The new list can be found here.

Claiming now is important - if we don't spend the allocation it will be reclaimed!
