Care in Crisis

Age UK has launched their “Care in Crisis” campaign today, Monday the 9th of the January.

Care in Crisis  is calling on the Government to reform the care system in this country so that everyone gets the care they need to live with a good quality of life, with dignity and the ability to plan ahead.

We’ll be asking supporters to get involved in the campaign by:

  • Signing the Care in Crisis petition here
  • Inviting your colleagues, members and friends to sign the petition by forwarding the link along
  • Participating in  the Care and Support Alliance Mass Lobby Day on Tuesday  6 March 2012

As you’ll be aware, there are millions of older people, both now and in the future, who can wait no longer; the time for reform is now.

If you would like any further information, or to get more involved, please contact Michelle at the address below.

It is always good to hear of praise for our providers and I was delighted to receive this information from Sarah Mitchell, Anne Butler and Kathy Saunders in SCC. It is so good to have the extra efforts of our providers recognised.
