We are delighted to offer a comprehensive programme of free training, workshops and study days for staff working in social care and health settings who are involved in providing care and support to individuals at the end of their life. These programmes are open to care homes, care homes with nursing, domiciliary care agencies and supported living settings, and are funded by the Multi-Professional Education and Training Project through Surrey PCT .

There are 3 training programmes for Surrey social care and health providers; East, North and South West. Please book places on the courses nearest to you, although if you have difficulty securing a place, or the course you are interested in is running in another area, then you may apply for places on the other 2 programmes. The application form and process are different for each area so please ensure you use the right one.

Please note that where courses are described as being appropriate for qualified health care professionals this would include qualified Registered Nurses working in care homes with nursing, but not care workers.

East Surrey - The programme is being led by St Catherine's Hospice. Please follow the link to access information and the full training programme.
