Aim
When adult abuse occurs it can have a major impact on everyone involved and others who work in or use a service. This two day training course will focus on a range of supports, approaches and skills that managers can use to address trauma, risk and system failures in order to maintain services and seek resolution of issues.

RNCC New rates from April 2010

Please find the attached an advice note from the DH regarding the revised NHS-funded Nursing Care payment rates for 2010/11. The rates increase by 2.25% which results in the following;
from 1 April 2010, for eligible care home residents:

· the standard rate will increase from £106.30 to £108.70 per week

· the high band will increase from £146.30 to £149.60 per week.

"Surrey County Council have asked SCA and others to encourage people with a LD (who have regular access to a PC) and those people that support them to come to one of the drop in sessions. SCC say they definitely need to hear their views The day is split in two with all presentations repeated, so people can drop into the event for a morning or afternoon and give their views.
